That might be the high if we continue to stabilize and decline in the fall. However all it will take is a war threat with Iran or a a severe weather event in the Gulf of Mexico to send prices rising again.

The price will come down right before the election, as they (Rep) try to get McCain in, and then it will go back up. If a Dem gets in, then the price will come down next spring. Until then, we just have to try to drive less and when we do need gas, pucker up.

It should not go up it should go down. Put pressure on your elected officials and they will make it happen.

To make the price of crude oil go down we need to get out of the war and spend more time on thinking of ideas to use a different source of energy to run our cars.

It is already at $139- it is kind of obvious that oil will go above $140 quite soon.
